Unfortunately for a higher end menu I found it average when compared to others in the area. I had the filet. The mash potato... portion was extremely small and no choice of vegetable. I wish I could rate higher but It just didn't deliver a stellarexperience. Read more

Lets face it, there aren?t a lot of choices for eating out in the Winnipesaukee area. There are, of course, the Common Man... restaurants - I?ve tried 4 or 5 of these ?baked-haddock in a pool of butter? places. Not good. There are the fried this andthat restaurants... and there are the old school diner-ish places. No criticisms for those - if that?s what you want. LocalEatery stands apart though. With it?s excellent food, fantastic sevice, and upbeat ambience - it may be a lot of money, but youget what you pay for. Choose a special event - birthday, anniversay or whatever and go there!! I was quite disappointed with the service and food for a nostalgic restaurant. We ordered hot coffee with cream & sugar and... when we added the cream it curdled to the surface. The waitress said the cream was old and should have been thrown out. Thebread they offered was stale and hard. We ordered pork chops and they were half cooked. Really think before you go to thisplace. Read more

We were pleasantly surprised by Local Eatery. We found it on Bringfido when researching dog friendly restaurants and was glad we... did. The food was delicious. I had the filet with buttered mushrooms and it was cooked perfectly. Their homemade flavored butterwas a big hit. Loved how they used some locally sources ingredients. Just a heads up, It was a little loud for our pup whenevermotorcycles drove by so may not be the best option for skittish dogs. They even delivered my kids burger with googly eyes ???? Read more

Let me tell you, the best restaurant in Laconia and one of the best I've ever been to. Cozy, warm and inviting atmosphere with... friendly and charismatic staff. Food hand made fresh right in the center of the restaurant, many items with delicious localingredients, you can see and taste the passion the chefs put into their craft. Menu is diverse and I have yet to eat something Idid not love. Cocktails are all fantastic with options to suit any taste, again many including homegrown NH spirits. Thebartender really is talented and takes her time crafting a delicious drink that isn't loaded with juices/sugars etc. If youthink it's pricey that because the quailty is there and it's absolutely worth it. Reccomend making a reservation ahead of timeand you can thank me later! Read more
