I went to the diner alone. My husband and I were good customers. The waitress said sit wherever so I went to sit in the full of... customers back room which is in a nice clean area. When I sat down the waitress came screaming you can't sit there and insteadtook me to a dirty table in a back corner directly beside the restroom. Never will my husband or myself return. What a horribleway to treat a former excellent customer. Other tables in the main room where open and available. Read more
Very crowded, food is good and staff are polite. Food came fairly fast considering how packed it was. Need a bigger place and... more tables. I had 7 people in my party and we all couldnt fit at the biggest booth they had. Had to take a chair from anothertable. Overall pretty good experience considering how small the restaurant is compared to how many customers were there. Alltables were full with a line out the door. Waited 15 ish min to get a table.. Came into an empty restaurant w only two tables attended. Was sat by door. Had to keep coat on to eat. (Cold and drafty by the... door) that was ignored. Orders are skimpy. Asked for eggs a certain way, instead they cooked them their way and tried to sellthem on me after they were already done. (Gave me over easy, I asked for hard boiled. ) Then instead of asking if they can dosomething else to substitute, they walked away. The sausage tasted like what I?d assume to be dried out horse meat. 2nd timeeating here and both times we? re displeased. Gave it a 2nd try because we figured it could have been a fluke. Waitress sawclearly that my plate wasn?t being eaten off of yet never came to ask if she could get me anything. Then drops check off andsays no rush. As she lunged the check from about two feet away from our table then bolted off before the check hit the table. Clearly she meant the opposite. Never have we been to a family diner and had such lacking servers in both serving and manors.Non personable behavior. The ultimate ending is when it?s time to pay, the machine then flashes several diff tip amounts tochoose from, seemingly having no option but to leave a tip, they don?t tell u that u can scroll down to hit the hidden ?no tip?button. Normally I tip the servers AND the cooks. I typically stay long enough to make sure the cooks cash tip gets taken backto them. Before I leave. And typically my tips equal more than the check itself.
