The waiter was polite and helpful. The food overpriced. The shrimp, crab meat dish with angel hair pasta--- maybe 6 small... shrimp, and about 3 to 4 pieces of very small pieces of crab meat. Basically dish was Angel hair pasta and a cream sauce.Husband enjoyed the fried shrimp platter a 3.5 stars. Atmosphere nice and roomy. Read more
(Updated review after a year later from dining for the first time) There was nothing particularly special about this... restaurant, so I don't foresee myself returning. I ordered gumbo--there was too much gumbo filet added to it (overpowered thegumbo). I also ordered the short ribs w/potatoes. It was okay. The taste of the brown gravy was definitely something one neededto acquire a taste for. It is pretty inside. Whoever did the interior decorating made this place a very comfortable restaurantto dine at. 4-23-22 UPDATE I returned with family who love oysters, so I had no choice but to give an update: 1. CrabmeatBall--leave it alone...it is not good--too salty and too much parmesan cheese all over it. 0/5 Initially you get excited toenjoy it...but then so greatly disappointed. 2. Gumbo: chicken and sausage still looks and tastes like a stew. 1/5 1 star forthe chicken bits. 3. Red beans and rice with sausage gets 5/5 stars!!!!! THIS DISH WAS AWESOME!!!!! 4. Lobster was very stinky. Just look how ashy it looks in the photo. Had to send it back. Got another petite steak instead, but... it was tough. Atmosphere is nicer at red lobster. It felt like we were at a golden corral. Service was fast, but not the caliberyou'd expect for these prices. Example, food runners don't know who ordered what. Dirty dishes not cleared, Drinks not refilled,Etc. Plus, who puts out micro tubs of margarine spread instead of real butter? We won't be back. Read more

The service here is super friendly and attentive. The Bloody Mary here is very good. I did not care for the chicken and... andouille gumbo that my wife ordered. It had a weird gelatinous texture that is off-putting. We both liked my dish, the Shrimpand Eggplant Stack. It came with 3 breaded and fried sliced eggplant pieces that were sliced at the perfect thickness. Therewere plenty of shrimp and the sauce was pretty good. The sauce could be more seasoned in my opinion. We enjoyed sitting on theoutdoor patio with beautiful weather and a nice breeze. Read more
