The food service was very slow. But that day was out of the ordinary. A cook quit and walked out on them. Needless to say it... took an extra long time for our meals to arrive. BUT our server was outstanding. She was kind, apologetic and attentive. Wewere a large group of 11 as well. The cuisine was good that day. Some items were excellent, others were ordinary. All said anddone I would definitely go back because of the staff that attended to us. I wish I remembered her name! Beautiful eyes, darkhair, young with a tattoo on her hand that was sanskrit. So if the owners read this. I hope you can figure out who she is.Because she deserves recognition. Read more

It?s been a while since I?ve been to The French Press so I was looking forward to my old favorite, the Cajun Benedict, and it... didn?t disappoint. As a rule, I prefer a dark gumbo so this hits the spot for me. This visit, however, I tried it with friedshrimp over the top. Not bad but I think I like it better without. We had a Sweet Baby Breesus for an appetizer and I waspleasantly surprised. Will need to try this again in the future. That and the Praline Bacon. All in all, a very nice visit. Read more

A must try! I ordered the Cajun Benedict and was impressed by its rich, full flavor. The praline bacon tasted great, but was a... little soft/chewy for me. Read more
