With a party of 6 celebrating our friends birthday we ventured to the quaint city of LeGrange Georgia where we encountered Mare... Sol. We arrived on the early side of Happy Hour since we know reservations are hard to get. Our server Jen was very patient aswe asked so many questions about menu items. Our food came quickly and was delicious. I loved the ambiance with the open floorplan and the natural lighting. Our food was hot and tasty. The wine recommendation was on point. This is a really nice place in a beautiful historic downtown area. The grilled pork chop and its sides were amazing! Our kids... had grilled cheese and tomato soup and the tomato soup was some of the best I have ever had. I would definitely come back whenvisiting this area again. Read more
Well the food wasn't good but it was expensive! Ordered a cup of lobster bisque. BARELY lukewarm but $12.00. The hanger steak... was described by the server as the most tender portion of the beef tenderloin. Half way through the meal she observed mydifficulty cutting the "most tender portion" to ask if I wanted a steak knife! $24.00. I love Mare Sol! Even after it changed chefs, the menu only seemed to get better! Their service and food is astounding and... I’ve never had something I haven’t liked from there.
