Probably the best public golf course in the Hudson valley! The greens are always in great shape, the speed is true from one... green to the next! Tee boxes immiculate.. the staff is always friendly and making sure pace of play is good! In my opinionthat's the most important thing to a round of golf. I wish I lived closer so i could play it more than once or twice a year! Atrue gem!! Read more
The Links at Union Vale are exactly what you would expect. A challenging course with plenty of bunkers and rolling hills. If you... don't hit the ball straight prepare to lose some balls in the high rough. Very nice clubhouse and locker room. We played latein the day, enjoying the beautiful sunset and surrounding scenery. Had a good time playing the course despite the sand trapstrying to ruin my day (LOL). The course was in good shape overall, considering the dry weather we've been having (see photos)The only downside was the divots in the T boxes. Second time here and will definitely be back. We were there for a wedding on one of the hottest days of the summer. The main air conditioning unit had broken. Despite the... fans it was just as hot inside as out,80-85 degrees. The staff was wondering, the food was barely warm ,crazy given the hottemperature in the hall. The links is a beautiful place. I would not pay for an event to be held there. Enjoyed a great day of golf at this beautiful course in Duchess county NY. Course was in good shape (especially considering the... lack of rainfall in the area lately). Pace of play was just over 4 hours. I didn't have the time to visit the bar & restaurantbut I will on my return visit. My only disappointment was that there are no discounts for seniors or vets (I think they mayoffer some on Mondays & Tuesdays). Overall, a good day of golf. Read more
