I have eaten dinner here multiple times. BEST Mexican food ever! And that says a lot: Ive eaten at quite a few Mexican... restaurants, and Carmelita’s easily is the best. Little pricey for lunch but food was great Stuffed Jalapeños we’re yummy
We were very pleasantly surprised to have stumbled across this place! It’s difficult at times to find a restaurant these days... that gives you service expected during your dining experience and makes it that much better while on vacation! Recommended by a friend and it was absolutely delicious! The crab stuffed jalapenos were perfect and surprisingly wrapped in... bacon. The green dipping sauce is spicier than expected (and I'm a spicy kind of gal so take my word for it!) But if you getsome extra sour cream, you'll be able to enjoy the spice with everything else! The churros and ice cream were a new adventurefor me. It was funny that the ice cream was what cut down on the heaviness of the whip cream, though the cream was fresh made...Nothing from a can here! The churros were the kind straight from the amusement park and the burnt caramel sauce tied everythingtogether!
