My wife and I were walking around Laguna Beach when we came by this restaurant and decided to give it a try and the place did... not disappoint. We were seated outside which has a nice view of the park and the ocean. We noticed there was an early dinnerspecial but when we asked our host she didn't seem to know what we were talking about but waiter did. We ordered the SteamedMuscles and Clams for an appetizer, and the Blackened Pork Chop along with the Filet Mignon for dinner. The Muscles and Clamswere very meaty and the sauce was a tomato and garlic delight. The Blackened Pork Chop was seasosned and cooked just right, andthe sauce had a very rich and hearty flavor that you will want to save your bread for. The Filet Mignon was a lean cut which Ilike and the cabernet demi glace was thick and savory. There was I believe some sour cream mixed in with the glace which threwme of for a moment but it went well with the steak and vegetables it came with. It was a very pleasant meal and we hope to beback soon. Read more

Horrible quality. Not sure how people give anything more than 2 star to this resturant. Flies all over the restaurant. We... ordered hazelnut cappuccinos and it taste anything but hazelnut. It was burned old brewed coffee. My wife ordered pancake, itwas so bad and mushy. The fries on my omelette was soacked in burned oil. For a great spot I hope management seriously considerto improve their standard quality. Read more

Overcooked food had to send it back and lost appetite, ahi sandwich no flavor no sauce, fake cheese and overcooked, overcooked... chicken in the Alfredo rock hard chicken, understaffed restaurant, the building is very old and falling apart, food definitelylooks better online than it actually is. The waiter was nice, but kitchen clearly doesn't know how to cook and definitely can'thandle being busy. I will not be back ever again. This place may have been good 20+ years ago or whenever they opened but notanymore. Read more

My wife's French onion soup was perfect as was the French Bread. My daughter's Seafood Fettuccine lacked a little in the seafood... category, but the sauce was delicious. My lobster was extremely small portion and the mashed potatoes were a barely soft solidball of brownish gray and not hot. The vegetables were undercooked and barely warm. My wife asked for a glass of plain hotwater and it was served in an obviously dirty brown stained coffee glass mug. The desserts were to die for and we loved thepatio seating were we watched the sunset over the Pacific Ocean with the exception that it overlooked the stand alone tam-shapedpublic restroom. Prices were reasonable and would have been totally appropriate had the food been better prepared. Minus thedirty glass the service was very good, although are waiter did not introduce himself but otherwise very friendly. We did orderfrom their bakery counter on a way out and it was delicious for breakfast the next morning. Read more
