Delectable food and fantastic service! The loft is part of the Montage hotel that?s tucked under the floor right below the... lobby. This was my first time dining at the Loft and I am impressed with their food. The service is impeccable and the serverthat served us was very pleasant and attentive. We were very well taken cared by him. With the waiter?s recommendations, we gotourselves a few of the restaurant?s popular dishes which included poke bowl and hummus with bread as appetizers and five maincourse consisted of a steak with sweet potato fries, two salmons, a pasta with chicken and a fried chicken burger. I had asalmon dish and this was the best salmon I have ever had as the meat was so tender and the skin was crispy. The purée thataccompanied the salmon was so tasty. I wiped the plate clean. My wife also raved about the steak she had. She loved the flavorand how they grilled meat. The fried burger supposed to be their customer?s favorite and my friend who ordered it became a fanof this burger. The dessert was also amazing. We ordered the house especially ice cream to share. We were so impressed with thepresentation of the dessert and didn?t want to eat it to avoid ruining the arrangement on the ice cream. Okay so beautiful location and great food. However the hostess (who had a Russian? Accent) had attitude and it put a bad taste... in our mouths. We had reservations for our Anniversary and we asked for a table outside at the time of reservations. When we gotthere we were told it was first come first served, which okay that?s fine I can understand. But when she sat us, she sat us at asmall table in the corner next to a large party that was going on in the next room and it was SUPER noisy. It felt like she wastrying to hide us in the corner and we were being judged. Another employee who I can only assume was the Maitre D, came over tous and apologized for seating us next to a loud party and offered to move us without us even having to say anything. One of my favorite places to dine that I?ve visited a few times. Like other reviewers have said- amazing service, beautiful view... and ambiance, and delicious food. To start, they serve complimentary sourdough bread with softened butter. We decided to sharethe coffee crusted steak with mac and cheese. Absolutely incredible, and it?s one of their signature dishes. We shared thechocolate bomb dessert, which was a bit underwhelming. They used to have a chocolate dessert that was more of a show. It was around shell and they poured hot chocolate over it. That?s what we thought we ordered, but we were mistaken. Still, amazing mealand we?ll be back for sure. Read more
