Yes!!! Finally found my weekend breakfast spot. Love the staff and the assortment of pastries. Lots of outdoor seating and such... a nice, airy, convenient area to enjoy the morning. Love this place! I got the avocado toast and it is FILLING lol. Read more
This place has gotten more and more popular. It is usually pretty good. I have eaten some croissants that are not that crispy... (flaky), almost like they were not baked on the same day. In general, I do recomend this place and it is nice to sit there anddrink a coffee. The outside patio is a good addition to the place. Read more
The Chaupain Bakery is a wonderful French bakery with delicious pastries and coffee. If you?re looking for a bakery with great... atmosphere for a quick snack, a sweet treat, or your morning coffee, this is the place. As a cafe, it?s not ideal for studyingor working, as all seating is outdoors and there isn?t complimentary wifi. As well, I found the meal options to be a bit moreexpensive than I?d like. I got the eggs benedict with potatoes. The portion size was alright and flavor was pretty good, but thebiggest issue was that it was served on a baguette. Again, it tasted great, but the shape and stiffness of the baguette doesn?treally work well for an eggs benedict. Still, the experience overall was positive, and I would recommend. Read more

After a disappointing visit at "Moulin" bakery in Newport beach ( pic with the 2 coffees), we decided to try Chaupain Bakery and... everyone loved it. Those were proper French pastries: super flaky, buttery and very fresh!
