This place was amazing - drinks, food, atmosphere, everything. I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato chips and also... a side of summer squash casserole. I also had the Old Fashioned Elder. So good! At our table we also had the Shrimp and Grits,Braised Short Rib, and the Florida Crush and Moonshine Mash. I had been wanting to try this place for ages and did for the first time yesterday. The food was absolutely delicious and worth... every penny. Jessica F was our server and she was simply fabulous. She was kind, answered any questions we had and then some.She checked in on us frequently despite the restaurant obviously being crowded. This place is definitely worth the hype! This restaurant in Disney Springs serves southern food on a river. The decor was a bit... off, but was still decent. Our waiter was good, Nothing to say about him. The food was excellent. My fried chicken was veryflavorful, juicy, and scrumptious. My biscuit was very dense and was good. My Mac and cheese was excellent with the thick topand soupy bottom. Would definitely recommend booking a reservation as soon as possible. Read more
This restaurant made me feel like the Lego man because everything was awesome! All the appetizers we had (gator bites, deviled... eggs and chicken biscuits) were awesome and we could have just eaten those and been completely satisfied and happy. Our entreesor equally satisfying and well portioned. Chef Art's chicken is moist and juicy with a crunchy fried layer of goodness. Beingfrom the south grits are important an these were executed to flawless creamy perfection. All the staff was super friendlyincluding our waitress we spoke to the manager and made sure that we emphasize this to him he's extremely happy and welcome tous back in the future. A nice place for a home cooked meal right in the heart of Disney Springs. Our waiter was personable and made some pretty good... drunk recommendations. The atmosphere is rustic, log cabin chic with lots of wood throughout. The restaurant is of notable size,so there wasn't a wait and the service was quick. If I had one critique it would be to add a little more seasoning to thechicken and the batter. We ordered the fried chicken dinner with collard Greens (which were awesome and the deviled eggs as anappetizer. The portion sizes were more than adequate and were in line with the price that we paid. Parking was plentiful andthere was only a short wait to get into the deck. Read more
