Wife and I went to Crying Eagle Brewing Friday night around 6:30 for dinner and the comedy show after at 8. We haven't had a... chance to go here in a while. The last time we did was for lunch and they served you. Now, or maybe in Friday night's case, youorder from the window and you get a number. No problem, we just didn't realize and sat down for about 15-30 seconds beforerealizing lol. Ordered the fried jalepeno cheese curds, Crying Eagle burger, and What Tha Fig pizza. All of it was pretty goodand came out in a timely fashion. After ordering our food, we walked over to the bar to order drinks. Asked the bartender for aflight. Told him a couple things I/we liked and didn't and he got us a good variety of 4 really good ones. I know somebartenders don't like that, but I was curious to see how he did and I was very happy with it. Tipped him separate from our taband told him he did a good job. Wife also wanted a bloody Mary. He did a really good job with that as well. Even asked if shewanted it spicy to suit her wants, which was a plus. After we finished, we cleaned up and went and picked up an Irish Red beerfor the comedy show outside. Bill with 20% tip ended up just under $100 I think. We never knew they had those comedy shows, butthe MC said they do it about once a month I think. 5 comedians (mostly from Houston area) came out and entertained us for acouple hours for $10 a person (ordered tickets online....I think they're typically $15 at the door). Good time for a littlenight out without the kiddos and we're hoping to go out and do it again with some friends next time. Read more

Aloha, This has got to be one of my best gems I found when I was in the area. We were just looking for a great micro brew and... found this awesome Barn Style place that has one of the best micro beers I have ever had. But on top of that they make their ownin house pizzas that are fire roasted and to die for. You will be amazed at how great they are. The barn style is greatbecause it feels so open and they also have an outdoor area in the back and has table and chairs if you enjoy. Please stop byanytime and let me know how it is. I have not been there in so long I miss it. Read more

Nice little brewery. There is tons of parking in front, along the drive and behind the brewery. The entrance is on the south... side of the building. When you walk in, the bistro for food orders in to your right. There is a bar in the back left, stairs toupstairs (more seating + restrooms) on the left, bathrooms and gift shop to the back left. There's a large outdoor space on theeast side including a big stage and outdoor games. The bar and bistro share the same system so once you start a tab that at oneof them, it works for both using your name. If you order food, you'll get a number for your order. Just place it at your tableand they'll bring your food to you. They didn't bring napkins or utensils so make sure to grab some if you need them. The amberale was nice. The fish tacos were pretty messy and difficult to eat. The flavors were alright. Cool little spot. Will definitelybe back again. Read more

We can?t say enough good things about the Crying Eagle Brewing Company (CEBC). We were Harvest Hosts guests, and as such, always... appreciate a spacious and level parking lot which CEBC had. They also had a full menu to select from but we ordered anincredibly delicious burger and a couple of cold beers, which we enjoyed on their huge outdoor patio/deck while listening to alocal acoustic musician. If you find your way to Lake Charles, LA we highly recommend this establishment for all yoursleeping/eating/drinking needs. Read more
