Kosher pizza shop with a side of sushi
We look forward every summer to young to Lake Como Pizza. They used to make one of the best pizzas in the area. This year the... pizza was very disappointing. We used to love their sauce. It was so tasty. Now it just tasted like watered down tomatoe sauceand had zero flavor. Please bring back your old sauce recipe! The cheese fries were okay. Nothing special. Really good pizza, kosher too. They also offer other food as well which is really good. Staff is friendly but sometimes wait... times can be a little slow. They also cater. I went to Lake Como Pizza to visit my daughter on her camp's visiting day. We got a pie, a large order of cheese fries, and... three overpriced drinks. Having spent two years of my life managing a pizzeria, my expectations were high. For the pizza, thesauce was sickeningly sweet and lacked authenticity and didn't even taste like it came from a tomato. The crust was hard,presumably because it was made the night before (or perhaps earlier). The fries were bland, and I don't think it could even becalled "cheese fries" because there were maybe 2 shredded slices of mozzarella on there. With certainly, I can say that thefries came out of a bag in some freezer, and anyone with taste buds would surely agree. In general, it felt like I was payingpremium prices for inferior product. I'm disappointed. The lady behind the register was very sweet, though, and was probablythe only good thing about my experience at Lake Como Pizza. I'd give it a solid 2/10 and would recommend it only to people whodislike flavor. Read more
