Have eaten at Oakfire a few times. Location is incredible, pizzas are traditional Neapolitan (delicious), drinks are great, and... the service is always top notch. Had lunch on Sunday July 10, 2022 with my girlfriend. We sat at the bar and bypassed the 20 minwait for a table. Joey, the bartender, was speedy and very nice. We had the wood fired bread with pesto, two pizzas, a 3 Floyd?sGumball Head, and a red sangria. The pizzas were fantastic, we love Neapolitan pizza. Some people clearly like crispy scorchedpizza and that?s okay, but Neapolitan pizza is generally soft and a little wet due to the high oven temps they?re cooked in. I came here with a couple friends and we were so excited to try the pizzas here. Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed with... the pizza. It was very undercooked and soupy/soggy, to the point where when we picked up a piece of the pizza all of the toppingslid off. My other friend ordered a sandwich and said it was pretty good. The location is great, we sat on the second flooroverlooking the lake. Our drinks were good and our waitress was wonderful. However, I would not recommend the pizza. As Lake Geneva gets during summer time, Oakfire also gets super busy. Once you get through the wait time and sit down, the... experience starts. The waiter/waitresses are super nice and responsive, always keeping an eye on what you?d need. And the foodis super delicious. I love their cheese dumplings and all the pizzas we ordered. However, if you?re looking for a quiet place tochat, this might not be your first option. The place is loud and vibrant, with a lot of other groups enjoying their meals withtalking. Read more

This place is across Riviera beach, on a high-traffic street which makes it noisy. Inside, it is noisy too, loud music plus the... conversations going around you. I love music and I don?t care if music is playing, but this was too loud. It is as if therestaurant?s plan is to make people get to eat and leave so they can sit the next customers. We were sat on the ground floor andnear the entrance. The tables are somewhat close to each other. There was no air conditioning and it?s summer time. The doorswere opened and there was a big opening in the wall that faces the street, but there was just a little breeze coming throughwhich didn?t help very much as it was about 2 pm when we got there. The service was perfect, really diligent and caring! Ourwaitress came to check on us several times during our meal. Before the main dish, We ordered the meatballs starter to share.Meatballs were okay, but the tomato sauce was plain and somewhat watery. It feels like it had not been completely cooked. As amain dish, we ordered a smoked ham & arugula pizza, a meatball sandwich, and a kid?s hamburger. The pizza was good and hadplenty of ham. It was also baked in a real pizza oven which really changes the flavor! The meatball sandwich wasn?textraordinary. The hamburger was okay, too. It was a nice experience in general, but the food experience was not remarkable.When compared with other restaurant experiences we?ve had, this is an expensive place. We paid $70 (tip not included) for thisfast-food type of meal. We paid $80 today (tip not included)at a different Italian restaurant where we had full meals (3 peopletoo). Food here is okay but it is not impressive nor the restaurant is a place I would go back to. This seems to be a popularplace because it is conveniently located, but if you want to have a nice, quiet meal, do some research first.
