All staff I encountered were friendly, capable and happy to talk or explain things. Rooms and common areas were spotless! Our... kitchen was clean! Everything in our room worked correctly, nothing broken or missing parts. The pool and other areas werecleaned constantly. My only complaint: Since we chose to go on a Sun - Tues trip, we found all the real restaurants closed forthe lack of guests. Understandable, but still sad. With two kids under 5yo, we really didn't want to leave the hotel. On theother hand we saved $200 bucks each night, so it all worked out. We will always come back. Very nice, clean, comfortable park. We had a great time overall! Very family-friendly and easy to get around. The water park was great, loved the area for little... kids, the hot tubs were nice and the water slides so fun. The arcade was cool! And the restaurant, Smokey's was great-deliciousfood and great service! Only downside were the rooms, the whirlpool tubs were very slippery and hard to get in and out of,safety issue there, the kitchenette was poorly stocked and had minimal items if you were looking to cook, beds were not greateither. Disappointed that even after being told we were getting a room with certain amenities (called ahead to confirm) we didnot get them. Read more

I don't typically like to write negative review but feel in this case, it was necessary. We were really excited about our trip... to Lake Geneva with our 5 year old twin boys. It was our first vacation since the pandemic and couldn't wait to do some kidsfriendly activities at Timber Ridge. The concept and overall layout is great but the resort / hotel is extremely run down. Therooms just felt dirty and we saw several bugs in our room during our stay (we were there for five days). The carpet was old andstained. The room had a weird odor and there were random markings / spots on the walls. The table and banister were verysticky (I went to the local Target and purchased disinfecting cleaner to wipe things down myself). The TV downstairs wasn'tworking the last few days of our trip and there were only two kids channels that were offered! Isn't this place meant to bring afamily with kids so why would you not offer more channels for kids? I felt the same way about the water park. It was a verygood size and they had plenty of space for the little ones but I can see dirt on the bottom of the pool. It just made me cringewhile I was there and wish they would spend more time and attention on the cleanliness of the property including the water park. The one good thing that I can say is that the lifeguards that were stationed inside as well as outside were extremely attentiveand you would see them walking around making sure that everyone was remaining safe. With two little ones running around, Ireally appreciated that. In closing, I wouldn't return and stay at Timber Ridge as it was very expensive and didn't feel likethe loft we stayed in was worth the kind of money they ask for. Also, what's up with the no cleaning the rooms during our stay?I don't know if that's a COVID thing but I was extremely disappointed that they don't clean the room during our five day stay. And the restaurants left a lot to be desired. This property and concept could be so good Read more

My family loved the water park!! There was always something to do. The rooms were amazing! We had a jacuzzi tub which was very... unexpected along with a full size kitchen and a Door separating the bedroom from the rest of the room. We were very close to thedowntown area within a 10 min drive. My only complaint was I had limited phone service. I would definitely recommend. And willdefinitely go back again!! Read more

Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark, it was a lovely place for a weekend getaway, as it's just an hour drive for us... notany... rides, but kids will definitely have a great time at the water park. The rooms are all very clean and well organized, withsingle and double bedroom suites(kitchen included). There's a petting zoo nearby where they also have horse riding and ponyrides for younger kids. The in house restaurant of timber Ridge needs a special mention here for the amazing interiors with lotof wood work and the fabulous food that is served here!!! Breakfast was really good!! Read more
