My stay here was quite good, nothing really bad about it except that it?s outdated; carpet, small kitchen, furniture, colours!... But the beds were comfy, the balcony was great too. I used the meeting rooms and they were accepted. If going to the lobby youhave to go outside and enter lobby from the front. Private beach is very small but cool! Stayed in a lake view suite. The room was split in two levels with beds being on upper level which made it challenging going to... the bathroom as night. There was no hand rail. Basically hated the layout of the room and the brown carpet around the beds. Alsothe stove/fridge area was very very small and very old. There were dishes that can best be described as vintage. There was nosponge or dish cloth or paper towels provided so at best you could rinse a dish with pink liquid from a dispenser on thewall. Towels were very thin and rough on skin. Good things about room; bathroom was very clean and main part of room has newvinyl flooring which was very clean. The balcony was Very nice and had good seating. 30 dollar resort fee was charged, thoughpool and roof top area was closed. When questioned about resort fee, I was told breakfast buffet was open. The buffet was 18 perperson so we opted not to partake in that amenity. I would not stay here again. Read more

Great vacation spot on the shore of Lake George. Nice private beach. Plenty of lounge chairs set up on the beach for guests to... use. Our room was clean with 2 queen beds and other amenities as listed on hotel website. The staff was great and took care ofour tour group's needs. The hotel is located within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Read more

My family and I went the 2nd week of August. Everything was amazing for all ages. There were plenty of chairs poolside and... beach. We were amazing how clean the grounds were kept. Staff and guests were all super nice. You don?t hear outside noise whenin your room. We cant wait to visit again! Read more

My wife and I stayed in the Superior Lakefront Room. I selected this room due to the private patio that comes with the room,... while at the same time having a great view of the lake and the beach. This room is located in the newer south wing and is closeto the pool, beach and Cabana Bar. The room was great. It was very clean and comfortable. The only bit of information that couldnot be determined from the website description is the fact there are 38 stairs leading from the parking lot level to the room.This is important to know if you have any type of health issues. As it turns out, due to the heat, humidity and quite probablythe stairs, my wife did have a medical emergency on the night before we were due to check-out and needed to be transported to alocal hospital. She ended up having to stay for a couple of days. Due to these circumstances, I needed to find accommodationsfor two additional nights. Kara and the office Manager were extremely sympathetic to my plight and found me rooms at Surfsidefor both nights for which I had to extend my stay. I cannot say enough good things about the way I was treated by these ladies,and I thank them very much for making my situation more bearable. Read more
