Not only must I update my review, I have to erase the old one completely. Went on a Saturday night and the place was hopping!... The live entertainment was very good and service was doing a helluva job keeping up. However, the old Jefferson House couldalso be a very busy lakeside bar. The difference now is that it is also a place to get great food. My prior review (a few yearsold) said to stick to burgers and fries, no more! Try the tacos; try the stuffed mushrooms; try the fish and chips! This isgood stuff! I'd recommend other dishes, but that's all I've had so far. We are so happy we came back! One note: Lose thepolitics. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but having it displayed everywhere is a bit obnoxious. Read more

Beautiful location. You can either come by boat and park on the dock or bring your car although parking is difficult to find if... the lot is full. Exceptional service. They seat based on how many servers and cooks there are, not how many tables are open.This results in quality service. Read more

It was charred perfectly, and the balsamic drizzle and beet glaze was a added bonus. Thisfamily run business made me feel like one of the family. Our server John was on point, he was able to remember 6 chatty women'sorder and the owner Boomer came to give us a welcome to her families establishment.
