Server was extremely helpful and friendly. Pasta was al-dente, salmon was extremely overcooked and flavourless. Steak was... gristly. Disappointing meal considering the prices were very high, but expected for this hotel. Read more
Extremely disappointing for such a well-known destination, food was actually horrific. $24 taco plate, with griddy over cooked... brisket, cold, presentation was tragic also. The chips and guacamole were actually bought from Walmart. The chips were staleTostitos and bland mashed up avocado in a bowl, the salsa was mushed vinegar with one tomato. My husband and I went to Alpine Social on June 11 and Saphi was our server. She was amazing! She clearly has a strong work... ethic as she cleared dishes the moment they were set aside, and our drinks were never less than 1/2 empty! I requested a typeof drink but asked her to surprise me. No questions?she had the perfect one in mind! She also engaged with her coworkers insuch a way that involved positivity as we observed smiles and gestures excitement. Very refreshing experience! After being mind blown from the stunning views and walk of Lake Louise, we wandered into Alpine Social which is located within... the Fairmont Hotel. It wasnt busy at the time so we thought we'd grab some drinks and lunch. Ordered a pasta salad which waspretty good but the tacos were really awful. Dry, chewy, lacking flavour and so we had to return it to the kitchen and requestno replacement as it was that poor. The table next to us received their chicken mains and they also had to return it as thechicken was overdone on the outside and under done on the inside. If you look at the menu I have attached, you'll see they had asatellite kitchen. This satellite kitchen truly let Alpine and all customers down. I hope they have taken steps to improve itbut overall an unsatisfactory experience to what could have been a perfect day for us. Cheers ALPINE ???? Read more
