Very nice restaurant. Great food and service. Small place, only eight tables and service at a counter, but very cozy place.... Interior is all woodwork. Credit card machine was down, cash only,. We only ate out at two restaurants in Lake Placid in thepast 3 days, on opposite sides of town, and by chance had the same waitress. Seems like she's one of the few people in Americathat wants to work. And she does it with a smile. Read more

The ONLY breakfast spot you need to hit when you?re in Lake Placid. Hands down the best Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich I?ve had.... Jeannine was our server. This was the first time I ate here. Honestly, I thought I was walking into the diner next door. I figured I'd give it a try. I... ordered 2 scrambled eggs and toast (one slice came with the meal) and iced tea. My bill was a bit over 11 dollars. Yes, it'sexpensive. The eggs were good. The iced tea was terrible. It had a bad taste. It could be the towns water, who knows...it wasnot good. Lots of people seem to love the food. I was disappointed. 2 eggs, one piece of toast, and a few pieces of fruitshould not be 8 bucks. The waitress was very nice and attentive, so, there's that. Read more
