Owner is EXTREMELY rude. Ordered a takeout order close to closing, asked them to wait for 4 minutes after closing so I could... come pickup my order. Was told yes on the phone. Arrived to find they sent my food home with an employee, AND on top of thatthen swore at me and was EXTREMELY disrespectful. Used to be my favorite sushi place around, won’t be anymore. DO NOTRECOMMEND. Read more

The sushi was just okay. I got 4 different rolls and It wasn't anything special. Expensive for just being okay. Their menu on... Google says all you can eat sushi but they for sure don't offer that. There are all you can eat sushi places in the area withmuch better sushi for less than half the price. Read more

Great decor and fresh sushi, a bit understaffed but we didn't have a long wait time.

Would give them 6 stars if I could. Favorite sushi restaurant for years, they never disappoint. I make it a point to go visit... them every time I’m in the area. Love it. I recommend the black dragon roll, legendary. The staff are amazing as well. Theirfood is super fresh and delicious and the sushi is always well made. I can’t say enough good things about them, 5 stars justdoesn’t do them justice. They are amazing, I’ve yet to find another restaurant like them Read more

I faced quite contoversial feelings at Sake Lake Zurich, so I will try to go over every aspect briefly and then share my... conclusion. The interior is fine, as you can see from the picture, its nothing more than you expect from a sushi place, although it was pretty clean. Table surfaces look worn and scratched, I would either fix them or replace with different moresolid material with no lacquer. Other than that, it was nice and comfortable. The food was good, no doubt about it. Miso soupand house salad like in most sushi places, Veg tempura was freshly made and golden crispy (served without any sauce for it -why?!), but the rolls were decent. I went with Sweet potato (good, yet ordinary), Orange Flamingo (very good, the one coveredwith tempura crumbs) and Jalapeno Popper (outstanding, although I had to take pepper pieces off on few cuz it was super spicy)rolls. My girlfriend chose Rock-n-Roll (wrapped in soy paper, just amazing) and Spicy tuna rolls that were great either. Theingredients looked and tasted fresh, no questions to the kitchen asked. I wanna talk price before I go into service part, so itmakes sense later on. Overall, prices are fine, reg rolls are $6-7, signature about $12, soup $2 and so on, nothing special; butAll-you-can-eat is $25, while in all places around that offer it, it is no more than $20 - just what makes you different fromeveryone else? Oh, and the hot tea normally goes with All-you-can-eat, here it was like $2 or $3 separately, but no bigdeal. Now to the shocking part, which is the service. The guy who met us when we entered, took us to the smallest table in theback without offering to choose a seat, while we were the only customers in the entire place (1pm Sunday). I told him I wouldlike the booth in the corner, he said we can only have one in the center - fine, no big deal. Later on, the lady taking theorder was shocked my gf did not go with All-you-can-eat (the rolls and salad she chose were like $5 cheaper combined) an Read more
