The outside of this restaurant is very deceiving. It looks very nice, clean and new. The inside is a different story. We have... been to one Culvers in the past and enjoyed it but this place was disappointing. We were at the store on 7/16 around 4:30 pm. Wewere greeted by a nice young woman at the counter who took our order which was Very pricey for hamburgers and fries. First,dining room was a mess and we had to ask for someone to clean a table. When our meal came out they forgot one of our burgers. The extra cheese sauce I ordered was cold. My son ordered a double burger and only got a single. When he went back to theregister to correct the mistake, they handed him an additional hamburger patty instead of making a new sandwich correctly. Themanager at the time said ?just give him another patty?. Not to mention, the burgers were dripping with grease. I would thinkthat with the over abundance of employees they had at the time they could have done much better. We will not go here again. Read more
Visited Culver's in Lakeland after many years since I last ate at Culver's. Wow, the store interior design and pricing have... changed tremendously. Culver's is now becoming more of a fat food chain instead of casual restaurant. My review will be for theLakeland store. Employees and customer service: Friendly and helpful at time if service at the counter. However, many of theseemployees are standing around while few employees are very busy. There is no line at the ordering line, however, food took muchlonger to be delivered to dine-in customers! Not sure if this is due to local mismanagement- over scheduling of employees,poorly assign employees where it is needed most. Management needs to review the overall floor process. Cleanliness: Restroomsand general public areas are well maintained. Trash cans are not overloaded. Trays were removed promptly. Pricing: Extremelyhigh since Culver's is a fast food chain! A fish sandwich, much better and thicker fish compared to BK or MCD, costs almost$7.00! If you get the value basket with fries and drinks cost over $11! A Swiss cheese mushroom double patty burger with friesand a shake cost $15 plus tax! The burger and fries alone were almost $11 plus tax while the shakes was about $4 plus tax!! $16for a burger with fries and shakes! I don't remember paying that much for a double whopper or Big Mac with fries and shakes! Clearly, Culver's prices are much higher. Food quality: The fish patty, possibly cod, is real fish based on the muscle texture.Fish sandwich from BK or McD are minced fish meat. The sandwich dimes with just tartar sauce with minced pickle/ relish. Noflavor at all. Just a deep fried battered fish patty. The Swiss mushroom burger was completely tasteless, no seasoning at alland very thin patties for the price. The flattened burger meat resembles Steak'n'shake meat patties. Had a GREAT burger in Foley, Al, come home to Lakeland, burger is ice cold., just thrown in a tray, no wrapping. Pretzel bites... good but have you people heard about sodium intake???
