Checked this place out for dinner last night after it was recommended to me by a friend. We are no-longer friends. Ordered... brisket and ribs to go. The ribs, while not good, were also not horrible either. Very edible. The brisket, and I'm notexaggerating here, had the tough chewy consistency of a shredded up car tire. The flavor was there, but I essentially went homewith two pounds of flavorful and expensive rubber. Wouldn't have hurt my feelings as bad if it didn't cost well over$100. Will delete in exchange for a refund or edible brisket. Read more
Pretty good food, but nothing amazing. Corn bread had cinnamon in it which threw off eating it with the meal and seemed more... like a dessert. Edges were dry as if they cut it and let it sit out. Ribs were better than famous Dave?s and brisket wasdelicious. Mac and cheese was good but very basic and there is an up charge for it which is interesting considering it?s justcheese and noodles. Ok flavor at best, but horribly dry. The brisket is like well done steak. Safe to say they have no clue how to do BBQ. But I... guess you can?t expect much from the a northern bbq restaurant. On the other hand, how hard is it to not dry out your ribs andnot overcook your brisket? And the best part, when you ask to speak with a manager, they don?t have one. What a joke. I spent a night at the hotel next door and Baldy's BBQ is where I had my lunch, they have a nice sports bar area and a family... dining area, the wings that I had were tasty and the service was great, they also have a patio area. If you're in the area Iwould recommend them for sure. Read more
