The smoothie was good but experience was rough. They have a fish tank that hasn?t been cleaned in what seems like forever. That... is causing the whole store to smell like rotten eggs. In the back it is visibly dirty and the ceiling has month old smoothiefrom what my guess is a exploding blender. Sanitation definitely could be improved. Read more
Unfortunately just had my worst experience here. For starters they sent out coupons recently in a local ad. This is the only... Berry Blendz within quite a distance. Coupon that I intended to use was a buy one smoothie get one free, no limitations stated.Upon handing my coupon to the cashier I was informed it was only for small or medium smoothies. She refused to use the couponand said that's what she was told. Whatever, I moved on. As my drinks we're being made I noticed three things, one being therear door propped open and an abundance of flies in the building. This breaks MN food codes as the door has to have a barrierfrom rodents and insects at all times. Then noticed as the two girls with very long hair leaned over, to scoop ingredients fromthe always open cooler, hair dangling deep into the cooler. Their hair was not contained in any way, this also breaks food codebeing this business serves more than beverages and prepackaged foods. They are required by law to have a hat at a minimum.Thirdly, at least one of the girls had very long artificial painted finger nails, also against food code as this area harborsbacteria (specifically fecal bacteria as the food code points out). Their nails should be cut short and be unpainted. All ofthis is very disappointing, previously I've been fine ignoring the lackluster service from the middle aged guys working inthere. However after having a coupon refused and seeing these disgusting practices, I'll probably never be back. Read more
