After dining here at least three times , it’s high time I wrote a review. First lovely atmosphere, especially on the patio,... service has always been pleasant and professional. Every dish we’ve had has been great, the calamari appetizer is one of thebest we’ve had in years. Only criticism is I wish they had more vegetarian selections or changed up the ones they offer (which are great by the way). Always an outstanding experience dining here. Read more
We went there for my wife’s birthday on a Saturday night and enjoyed our experience. Our server was cordial and attentive... without being annoying. I got the she crab soup and a rainbow trout special and loved it all, my wife Was very happy with hermeal as well. The place was clean and the decor was interesting, however, the one thing I will ding them on a little bit washow dark the restaurant got. It went from bright and friendly to dark and private like you would find at a stodgy old 1970sjoint. The other small thing was they asked if it was a special occasion for my reservation and I informed them it was mywife’s birthday and nothing else ever came of it. That’s not a big deal, though. Food was excellent. Service not so much. Took 24 mins to get a drink. Another 15 mins for an appetizer. One hour for main... course. Asked hostess if she could check on our entrees. Owner came over and was very condescending. Proceeded to explain thatwe as customers have no idea what it's like to keep staff during covid and that they were very busy and we should understand.When we mentioned that we have not seen our waitress she proceeded to tell us that the waitress was her weakest. We got there without a reservation but were able to get a table on the deck but eating at the bar is a great option too. Had a... Pear Martini that smelled and tasted amazing, Calamari, Crab cake special and Lasagna. Great quality and service was quick! Read more
Very good atmosphere and friendly efficient staff. The food was cooked to our liking, served timely (meaning they did not bring... out the next course until we were done with the current course), temperature was right. One of my favorite restaurants! The food is so AMAZING! I’ve only been here 5x so far, after finding it this past summer. But... every time I go I try something new and I’m never disappointed. The atmosphere is wonderful. I love the decor. The staff isgreat, very knowledgeable about the menu, and makes wonderful recommendations.
