Taco Tonto?s Cool place but has a weird vibe. The staff was amiable, but service was prolonged for such a small place. Overall... the tacos were good. I?m not sure if I?m cheap, but I?m not a fan of spending $7.50 for one taco. Read more
All the food was just very bland. They have two house made hot sauces that helped a little. The burrito "el biggo" was mostly... just rice. The chips taste like tostitos. The margaritas were very good but expensive compared to other places. The restaurantis small and there isn't great parking. Read more
Great tacos and salsa. Excellent and quick service.
Great service and employees but the food (taco/burrito) is very underwhelming. First off it is the furthest thing from... authentic. Most notably it is very bland, flavorless, and boring. Especially for the price, I thought it was going to be reallygood. You can go to other places and get the same meal for cheaper and it?s substantially better. That being said, I would notrecommend. I would like to note again that the staff and service is great, so this is nothing against them as they are justdoing what they are being told. Read more

I grew up in Kent and have been going to Taco Tantos since the 80's and was always great. I ordered from the Lakewood location,... if I didn't know better I would have no idea they two are sister restaurants. Rude and inhospitable on the phone, about the samewhen picking up my food. The food was horrendous,... Worst ground beef burrito with hard beans and some plain white rice thatwas half way rolled up and looked like an "uncut burrito" served open face.???? The soft taco was horrible, a bunch of reallybad ground beef that was in huge chunks. Also did not give me my guacamole I ordered paid for Come on now, really how hard itis to cook ground beef for tacos and burritos? I'm sorry but when you can't get this simple task done, then it's time to closeshop, or clean house. Quite resting on your laurels with such complacency. My guess is the owners are never around. Probablyon of the worst meals I've had in the last 20 years! Honestly, how does this location stay open? Lose the attitude like youcan't be bothered by a guest wanting food, that's your job, isn't it? A simple "hello" and a smile will go a long way, evenwhen the food is a bad as it is.
