i always come in this place with no problem.I decided to take my cousins to check it out since they?ve never been here. and we... were treated like we were robbing the place?. i grabbed one candy and was debating on buying it while still looking around. Thisold man got up and started staring deep into my soul? can?t even hold a item without getting treated like i?m a thief. He thengot into my cousins personal space and was being very creepy. Then while we were about to leave he came up to me and said ?whereis that candy you had? where is it? then i pointed it out and said i left it right there ??? and he looked so ridiculous? hethen asked me to put it back which i said that?s okay with me i?ll put it back ? right when he did that we were all fed up.. andjust left. never coming again ?if this place wants business get somebody that doesn?t accuse every customer of stealing. The concept is super cool but the candy is very old. I know businesses have had a hard time in the last few years but I can't... even pop in for a bag of taffy anymore because they're all old and dont taste right. I've tried several times and i get burnedeach time. We've bought several bottles of Butterbeer here and they're flat and expired. Last time we went in my husband washandling our 4 year old who was throwing a tantrum when the owner tried to give him candy. I had to step in and tell him hedoesn't get rewarded for throwing a fit. The man inside was extremely rude , he proceeded to follow me around and stare me down . But when a white couple walk in he is... nice says hi and doesn?t follow them around. If I could give negative stars, I would. I walked into this store today and would have loved to stay and look around and even... spend some money on some cool stuff but the worker did not even look up when we walked in. We said hello when we walked in andnothing. We tried again and asked how he is today and he didn?t acknowledge us at all. How can you work at such a fun and coolstore and be such a disrespectful and rude person? Fire him. Hire a young and happy person. If you are looking for select candies from your childhood albeit the 60s or 70s, more than likely you will find what you're... looking for here. Rocket Fizz also has a very large selection of Select sodas, which are either impossible or hard to find atyour local supermarket. However I suspect some of these are clones, produced not by the original manufacturers, but rather adifferent company who bought the licenses out. Prices of Sodas are exorbitantly high. Cost of two each 12 oz bottles was $4.78plus 10.25% Tax and another .35 cents to use a debit card, equals a ridiculous price in excess of >$5.50- The one very bigdisappointment at this Lancaster Rocket Fizz is the owner himself! I've gone here twice, since this store was sold by itsoriginal owners. Both times I said thank you after purchasing several sodas. Not once did this man say you're welcome.
