Delicious mufongo and perfectly fried pork. Excellent!!
Decent food but poor management, 3 female employees took about 5 minutes to serve me a simple takeout order, me being the only... customer there. They were extraordinarily focused more on their conversation rather than taking care of the order. When I arrived I was not greeted and was standing there for a while before someone came out. I have never in my entire life had... mofongo have the consistency of a custard and taste like olives. It seems they run the plantains through a food processor and itdoes not seem like they use fresh garlic or any at all, also it did not have any chicharrón. The meat had absolutely no flavorand the lettuce was not washed correctly if at all. Over all I could never go back. The whole atmosphere is a little chaotic. Read more
It was an awesome experience from beginning to end. It's been a while since I've had some authentic Puerto Rican food and we... happen to be in the area and my wife had a craving for it. We live about an hour away. Even though we had to find city parking,it was worth going here for the amazing food and service. When we first entered, we didn't know what to do so we looked at themenu and after asking how to order, we sat at a table. There are not many tables in the place so I could see it being completelyfull and not being able to eat there, but I'm sure they would be happy with a takeout order. There are a few tables outside aswell. The food quality is amazing! We ordered a lot of food since it was hard to decide what to get. We had a little bit ofeach dish and took the rest home.
