Had to have something local for my first trip to Tampa and that's exactly what Ukuelele Brand's is. It's a local favourite and I... can see why. Located lakeside, Ukuelele Brand's is no frills, smells funky as heck, the food is deep-fried, unhealthy and badfor my gluten-intolerance but it's hella tasty and fresh. My favourite of the frog legs, gator bites and garoupa was the gatorwhich goes great with remoulade. Read more

Hubs and I visited Ukuleles twice while we were on vacation there in April. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful... . Especially their hush puppies. We also got to see one of the baby gators that lives in the lake there ???? they said his nameis Timmy. We sat outside, the area where you see the gator was in the process of being completed. I believe they were adding onto the deck which will be really nice when it's finished I believe. ???????????? will be back again in October, can't wait! Read more

Great food, great service and great location with a dash of Florida cracker atmosphere! Our server was really impressive - great... all around experience. I chose the fish basket with 1 fried and 1 blackened filet and the wife got the Pot Roast. We both agreedthe food was a solid 8/10.
