Yes, this is the same Lee's Donuts you'd find inside Granville Island Public market. I think they make it there and then ship... the donuts here since this one inside the mall is just a little kiosk. Still the same quality though. Not like the donuts feeldry or anything from sitting too long inside the display casing. So yea, I think they do keep the quality fresheveryday. Beware though, if you're looking for fluffy yeast donuts, these aren't it. These are more cake donuts, and I gottasay that they're one of the fluffier cake donuts out there. Don't also expect some fancier toppings or flavors like what you'dfind at Lucky's, but you're also looking at half the price. I think they try to cater more to the masses so the flavorselections, while plenty, are somewhat basic. Read more
We recently made a special order of two dozen doughnuts for our Daughter's 18th Birthday for her Pink Themed Party & they were... absolutely amazing! Great communication with everyone there from start to finish for the order, they were beautifully decorated& so delicious!! This was my first time at a Lee's Donuts and I picked up a dozen of these bad boys. Was looking forward to the yeast donuts but... weren't available at the Willowbrook location. These were some tasty treats but should only be eaten within 24-48 hrs otherwisethey become quite dried out. They were all very good flavours especially ones with coconut ????????????. How could you go wrongwith flavours like German Chocolate, Cookie Monster, Chocolate Crunch and Coconut? A bit pricy for 1dozen at $25 but worth it ifyou're a donut lover like myself. They need more flavours/different donut types. I had the chocolate donut and it was good. Super dry but it would be good with... chai/tea. If you like cake, you will like these donuts. Read more
