Travelled from Toronto to eat here and it was worth the trip. We started with appetizers to share: catfish nuggets, blackened... shrimps and hush puppies. All were a hit! For mains, we ordered from their Meat & Three Ya'll section, you choose a meat and 3sides. The beef brisket was so flavourful and tender. Fried chicken is the best, the batter is delicious. All the sides weregreat, especially the grilled corn and mashed potatoes. Only the collard greens were too salty. The service was exceptional, all3 servers were polite and accommodating. First time here. We?ve been looking for something different. 45mins drive from our place but worth the drive specially on a... Sunday. Over all i give it 4/5. Rustic design which I love. Friendliness of staff is fantastic. Chicken is a must! Hushpuppies10/11 ????. We are a bit disappointed that the brisket were not ready not until dinner time.. Wow, if you haven't been here you need to go! Their fried shrimp are the best I've ever had, loved trying the boiled peanuts,... the Meat + 3 sides combos allow you to try out many of their different specialties in a create your own combo! Have been waiting awhile to stop by here to eat, definitely was not disappointed!! Really hard to find good chicken(southern)... fried steak up here in Canada. They knocked it outta the park. Nice,big portion too! Really cool looking place to sit and eatas well. Great service, staff were super friendly. Food was pretty quick. I will Absolutely be a repeat customer here. We stopped at the Front Porch Southern Kitchen restaurant for dinner on our way back from Long Point park. We got a table on the... terrace as the weather was still pretty mild (watch for bugs!). The menu was interesting with southern US dishes. My girlfriendhad a Grapefruit Paloma Tequila (on picture) which she really enjoyed and I got the Black Coal Stout which I equally liked. Wegot the "catfish nuggets" as an appetizer, which was a very good serving of tasty breaded deep-fried fish. Super tasty! We thenhad the Shrimp and Grits (Excellent!! A specialty of this place) and I got the Pork Pulled Shoulder. My girlfriend had a largenumber of shrimps (I believe she counted 17 of them!) and I got a LOT of pork... Portions were "US Sized" (meaning very large)and while having a very good appetite, I couldn't finish my pork. Note that I got the "Meat and 3", which is a meat main dishwith 3 sides. For sides, I got the beans, the mac n; cheese and hush puppies. Everything we had that night was just excellentand tasty. Total was about $110 for both of us which is really not bad considering the amount and more importantly the qualityof food you are getting. Definitely recommended, despite being quite far from our place, we might just go there again for totaste other dishes! Note that this place also offers live entertainment.
