Additional Information
The food was delicious and the service was great. Hassan (our waiter) provided great service. There was an issue with our tab... that was cleared up quickly. The entertainment was everything (The Family Reunion Band). Read more
This is my second time visiting this establishment and I'm giving 3 stars (I almost have 2 stars) because 1. they refuse to... split checks. It's a headache especially with a group of 20 people. They already add gratuity for 2 or more people... which ispretty much every table so why not split the checks? This is real inconvenient especially in 2022 since most people don't walkaround with cash. 2. And speaking of credit/ debit cards they won't let you use credit card unless spending $20 or more. Thefirst time I went we sat at the bar and a guy wanted a beer and walked out cuz he wasn't going to drink $20 worth ofbeers. Businesses need to be more accommodating to give patrons a good experience. 3. My drink was horrible. It was so strongthat I literally had to add a half a glass of water to it. That was the first time I went. I can't remember the drink but thebartender, who appeared to be a substance abuser or maybe in recovery, was really trying hard and she was super friendly butthat drink was NOT it. I'm giving 3 stars because even with all of that it's a nice, clean, spot to grab a bite in the southsuburbs, the food is excellent and the live band on Friday nights is always entertaining... at least they were on the 2 Friday'sthat I visited. Coming in there were only four other people in the restaurant but the hostess told us to wait. The five of us stood there... literally holding my 87 year old father up. My brother asked for a table that was close to the door and she was kind of rude. Igrabbed a chair from the bar so my Dad wouldn't have to continue to stand. The food was pricey the server was pleasant andattentive. Everyone enjoyed their meals however for the kind of money we spent I expect to be greeted happily, even if wedidn't spend a lot we should be greeted kindly.
