They?ve raised prices since last year, which is acceptable, business gotta make money, but they?ve also slashed portion sizes,... we ordered the loaded Mac and cheese and a brisket sandwich, the sandwich was probably half the meat that it was last year, andthe loaded Mac and cheese didn?t even fill the bottom of the take out container, it used to be you couldn?t even lift the boxwith one hand it was so heavy, tonight you didn?t need more than 3 fingers to hold it. Small place with very nice staff. The brisket was good, rib and rib tips had a tough chewy bark but pretty good once you discard... the bark/seasoning layer. Price is good for the portion size. Read more
Was in the area and stopped to grab some bbq , I had the rib tips with sides, this was well seasoned and tender could eat with... or without the sauce, also had the smoked wings with tangy&sweet sauce, will be visiting again soon ???? Read more
When I try new BBQ restaurants I have a general rule, if their pulled pork is good I'll probably come back, if their brisket is... bad I'll never come back. This is the first restaurant to have me break that rule, their brisket wasn't that great, the fatratio seemed off and the flavor just wasn't there for whatever reason. However, their pulled pork was so damn good that I willdefinitely be back just for that! BIG pork ribs! They use spare ribs and keep the tips on, this makes them HUGE compared to baby back ribs elsewhere. (They also... sell rib tips but they purchase the tips already separated) The rib meat was perfectly seasoned - I always love a BBQ'd meatthat is perfectly seasoned and smoked and can stand on its own without a BBQ sauce, oh they were extremely tender too.
