This is one of my favorite places to eat locally. I?ve had several different items on the menu and they have all been excellent!... Everything is always hot and quick. The Sam?s sauce is delicious! Excellent service and friendly staff! Definitely recommendtrying Sams! Read more

I have never had a bad order. The breading on the catfish is crusty and delicious. Some of the best tasting catfish I've had in... LaPlace. As for preparation let me give you an example. Today my order was for pickup. Abraham, the owner, came out to me andsaid he didn't like how long my shrimp had been out. He cooked fresh shrimp for me and threw in a couple of extra shrimp. Andtheir shrimps are big. Fried okra and fried pickles are fantastic. Crab cakes are the best and a meal in themselves. I highlyrecommend, and without reservation, Sam's Southern Eatery. Great food.
