Terrible food. I understand the portions are meant to be small, but they tasted terrible too. The mushroom toast was extremely... salty, and that was it. The cheese and meat platter was mediocre at best. Making your own plate from Safeway would have tastedbetter for less cost. The flat bread was very boring with little flavor besides cheap truffle oil. The orange triffle had 1 bitof orange and 1 bit of strawberry. Far below expectations or description. This meal was the worst tasting most over priced foodI have ever had. Read more

Just swung in for lunch randomly and was glad I did. I don’t know much about the dining scene in Laramie, but they should be... grateful to have to this place here. It could easily fit in and compete in a much larger (city) market. I had the Duck Confitand it was very, very good. Flavors balanced and the duck was cooked perfectly. Nice presentation as well. Service was verygood as well. My only recommendation would be to lose the paper napkins and cheap silverware. It’s a disservice to the greatmenu and space. Besides that, excellent. Read more

Edit to my experience: This place is worth sitting down and enjoying the ramen if you like pouring your own broth. My last... experience with to go orders wasn’t the best but the inside experience is subtle, nice, and the ramen is great consideringthere is not many other places locally that offer it. Plus the tastes of ramen vary within town. Worth the try. Read more

First visit a few nights ago, unfortunately it will probably be my last. Went for dinner with a friend and we both had high... hopes for the food based on the interesting menu. Very disappointed all around. We both started with the wedge salad. Thelettuce wedge was slightly limp inside, like it might have been accidentally frozen. Overall an unremarkable starter. I alsoordered the Pork Belly which was supposed to come with miso mustard and pickled onions. There were 3 slices of very hard andtough pork belly slices. Not sure how the pork was prepared but it tasted like it had been sliced and deep fried for a verylong time. I had to use both hands to hold the slice of pork to take a bite. There were no pickled onions and a very thicksmear of aka miso paste which had no discernable taste of mustard. My friend ordered the Shoyu Ramen, which was served with thebroth separately in a tea pot, so you can pour it on the noodles yourself. This was surprising because the noodles themselveswere very overcooked and soggy; look at the pictures, inedible. The shoyu broth was unusually bland and slightly sour. Therewere no mushrooms, the egg was hard boiled (not soft cooked as stated on the menu), and the vegetable garnish was sautéedzucchini and yellow squash. I ordered the Sweet Miso Tofu for my Main course. The plate included soggy and overcooked stickywhite rice, sautéed zucchini and yellow squash, and 4 thin slices of very dry tofu, layered on a smear of what seemed like thesame aka miso. The menu stated "Glazed tofu, wild mushroom, summer vegetable succotash, brown rice, scallion vinaigrette(V/GF)" definitely not what I was served. The worse part of the service is that all the food was brought out at the same time. So we had just gotten our salads and had begun to eat when everything else was brought to the table. This was not tapas dining,we ordered starters and mains. We should have had time to finish our salads before we got the main course Read more

We went here because we love supporting local businesses but in all honesty I would much rather go to an olive garden. We were... celebrating an anniversary and the costumer service was so really awful. Each time we asked for something our waiter lookedextremely bothered. The food was semi okay. They confused a cabbage head for an iceberg lettuce which was really odd. Instead ofapologizing the waiter told multiple people which found it really funny. One of the people. the waiter told looked like she wasa manager or owner. I think owners/managers should be up and running their business and not sitting at the bar drinking wine. Our steaks were bland, and potatoes looked like they had been reheated. Cask has so much potential. Its in a great location, andits menu looks great. They can do many specials, and wine related events for their business. It would be amazing if theyprioritized staff training, and their food. Cask was a bad experience, but I hope they are able to make their business better. Read more
