I go to Niko’s once a month or so and have for the past five years. I do try to go earlier in the evening because quality is... noticeably lower during a rush, but still better than… others in town, even at its worst. Much more affordable thancompetitors, too. Quite reasonable. I always love the agedashi tofu and I like the spicy edamame, too. The firecracker roll is afavorite, though the simple salmon roll never fails me. The katsudon is delicious and filling if you’re not in the mood forsushi, but in my experience, the hibachi meals leave much to be desired. Go for their sushi. I haven’t had any roll, nigiri,or sashimi that wasn’t delicious. Service is generally pretty fast and friendly. Atmosphere is familiar to me at this pointand therefore comforting (lots of associated memories), though it is a small space, so can feel cramped when busy. It’s one ofthe places I always recommend to new students or people passing through and looking for a place to eat because I can always relyon it. Read more

Niko rarely disappoints. A few times, my sushi has tasted different because of a person being trained, but it's NEVER bad and I... have never left hungry. We frequent this place so much that the head guy knows us at the grocery store ???????? Staff is alwaysnice and helpful. If you like sushi and/ or hibachi, you need to try this place ???? Read more

Ewwww The vegetable roll seemed like it had been sitting out for awhile. There was some mushy brown stuff which was disgusting.... The asparagus in the fried vegetable tempura was so soft I could bend it into a pretzel shape. There was a quarter onion friedand soggy included in the tempura plate. This restaurant is disgraceful. We have gone here several times over the last year. It is either average or terrible. Which is weird because they have the same... chefs each time we have dined there. There is zero consistency with the sushi rolls. They are different every time, even thoughwe order the same rolls. The hibachi chicken and steak is bordering on shopping mall quality. Tough, dry and lacking flavor. Ihave eaten high quality (and low quality) sushi and hibachi all over the country, as well as in Wyoming. This isn’t just whatit is because “it’s good sushi for Wyoming”. We are finished giving them chances, I would not recommend going here. Read more

We ordered delivery for dinner. Were told at the time of order it would be an hour to hour and 45 minutes. We ordered a... variety of rolls and nigiri as well as a Teriyaki combination plate; came with soup (miso or mushroom,, opted for the mushroom),green salad with ginger dressing, and I subbed Chicken Fried Rice for an additional $1.50 upcharge. Also ordered Agedashi tofuand seaweed salad. My husband said the sushi was okay, not as good as what we've had in NYC or Hawaii. I'm allergic toshellfish so couldn't have any of the sushi he ordered. The mushroom soup was horrible! Not sure what flavor the soup wassupposed to be but it was weird. Ended up down the drain. The Teriyaki sauce was cloyingly sweet and I could not eat it oneither the chicken or beef. My puppy enjoyed the beef and chicken without any sauce, as well as the chicken fried rice, as I,did not. The seaweed salad was great and the best dish was the Agedashi Tofu; flavor was on point and they actually use katsuoboshi flakes on top! Overall, this place is probably considered good Sushi and Japanese food, for Wyoming. I've had a lotbetter elsewhere and most likely won't be ordering their Teriyaki again. Read more
