We wanted some Italian food and decided to go to Canaletto at The Venetian. We ordered Carpaccio con Ruchetta- thinly sliced raw... beef with wild baby arugula, capers and shaved Grana Padano in lemon-olive oil dressing, Calamaretti Fritti - baby squid flouredand deep fried with grilled polenta and spicy marinara sauce, Linguine Buranella - thin flat pasta with mussels, prawns,scallops, clams and Coe Secoe e Amarone - risotto with beef tenderloin and porcini mushroom. For dessert we had tiramisu.Everything was fresh and so delectable. They were so mouth watering delicious and flavourful. We dined in the patio and it wasthe perfect setting like dining in St. Mark's Square on a perfect day. There were even some singers in the square. This place was phenomenal. We were seated "outside" where the later it got, the darker it got, as if you were outside. You... didn't even realize it was happening! Our waiter was so nice and helpful in selecting wine to go with our meals. The flavorswere sensational, and it was definitely my favorite meal while we were in Vegas. It's on the pricier and, but the quality of thefood, service and atmosphere is worth it. Besides, you're in Vegas to spend money. So spend it here! Read more
