Decent food for Vegas ramen. Subpar compared to Japan ramen-ya. Soggy noodles. So so service too.

visited japan twice this year and holy cow is this place authentic! sake in square, wooden cups, highballs made from actual... suntory whisky. the food was killer, but more importantly the amount of options were abundant as it should be-- lotta placeshere in vegas either only do ramen (hashi), or can only make one extra item: gyoza (ramen sora), and some can do a lot but skimpon the size / preparation of items (go!ku). i'm coming back to this place soon! This is their second location to open with this being in Las Vegas chinatown center. No difference on the menu compared to... their original location only staying open later. I cringed after seeing LED OPEN sign was turned off. Fearing for the worst, Ipull door handle with waitress saying how many? Thank goodness it wasn't sorry we're closed now. Not too shabby interior justenough to fend off those who may say this and that. You come for the food not interior designer shopping. I don't judge placeswhen food and service is excellent. Got me a bowl of tonkotsu ramen with DIY spicy sauce on side. I like this feature because itlet you be somewhat involved playing culinary chef. Broth taste rich and flavorful as expected like braising liquid. Noodles areal dente and meat as tender as they come. Octopus is grilled to perfection not hard and dry, but rather cushion soft chewy comeswith dollop of mayo, but you should ask for couple of lemon wedges. There are a number of ramen places near Summerlin, butservice isn't on par like Ramen Kobo so driving out of my way for good food and service that I will indeed. Read more
