Located at Resorts World but not in the casino but in the ?mall? portion of the property. We had wonderful brunch there. ... Started with the taquitos and chicharrones and this started off the meal just right and off course chips and salsa. Lots onthe menu that interested me and ended up going with the chorizo con huevos so scrambled eggs with chorizo and crispy smashedfingerling potatoes with flour tortillas. It was so tasty. Also tasted the barbacoa melt (shredded beef short rib) and thatwas so good too. Couldn?t leave without dessert and this topped off the meal. The churros had 5 pieces in each order, theywere light even though deep fried and just hit the spot. Not our best experience. Good like a run to Costco not a luxe dining experience. Luckily Viva is surrounded by some standout... dining options. The quesadilla appetizer was the winner and we were off to a great start that was muted by the rest of thedinner. The tres Leche flan was also a favorite, rich with a creamy texture. This was the first Mexican restaurant I havevisited that charged for chips and salsa, and did not include rice and beans with enchiladas as an entree. There were 2hostesses and unfortunately we got the one who was least interested. Not the best start. As always, I hope your experience isbetter. Perhaps we visited on an off day. Read more
Absolutely incredible. We just arrived and checked in and went straight to the restaurant and every bite of food was incredible.... Loved it. I mean the quality of the ingredients and the balance of different textures and profiles and the cook level and thetemperature were all fantastic. Every item I got was to die for. The lamb short rib was my single favorite bite. The juicinessand tenderness was within every fiber. The mixto Coctel was also amazing. The shrimp had so much firmness and bite to it. Evenmore than a lobster which feels like rubber in comparison. The give on the bite is almost a crunchiness. The Polenta was warmand cheesy and contrasted the charred octopus along with its bites of perfect little cherry tomatoes. And with dessert, thechurro was incredible light airy and fluffy in the middle, when your tongue sticks in the edges of the churro flake away and youget a warm eggy aroma and taste. And finally the tres leches flan is so incredibly dense and flavorful and rich. Almost like acheesecake but with the rich dark caramel flavor. Unbelievable experience. Read more
Super good! Service was excellent!!! The chicken was like slow roasted. The tortillas were amazing! Rice mixed with the... guacamole was a great combo! Overall it was a pleasant experience and the food was super good. I?ll definitely be returning nexttime I visit here. Read more
