I?m actually really sad to be writing this, I?ve been going here for years since I was a little girl. The food is okay there,... it?s a convenient spot here in LaSalle. But today, my nephew saw a cockroach AT THE BUFFET STAND (near the shrimps in the backnext to the grill). I went to see someone working there and they just smushed it without saying a word. Needless to say, we alllost our appetite and left. The waiter apologized at the end but that?s still money wasted when all we wanted was a nice familysupper. Going to this place requires a special kind of self hatred. Dried greasy food even by buffet standards. Mandarins elsewhere are... far far nicer. The burnt out letters on the sign should have been a dead give away. Read more

Not the biggest buffet! Quite a few variety! The service is very good here and the food is OK! Overall I enjoy this place and... the price is on par with other buffet place just a tad more expensive! I have been going to the Mandarin buffet since they first opened. The food has always been great and the staff always pleasant... and courteous. I have taken my family, friends and relatives to the Mandarin often, and we've all enjoyed the food and desserts.Oh the desserts, they even have an open grill for those who like to grill their own shrimp and chicken, they also have achocolate fountain and sushi bar, it's a great place to bring the whole family together with friends. I highly recommend it foranyone who is wanting a really good place to dine out with their friends and loved ones. Try it, their lunchtime prices arereasonable and the food always fresh. Read more
