I wrote my one and only review ever for this resto years ago because I wanted to support a great new local business. I've eaten... probably every meal on their menu, multiple times a week sometimes and it WAS awesome. During covid, the ownership changed andsince then, they've increased prices and lowered the quality on just about every item on the menu. The burgers used to havebrioche bread and good cheese, and the fries were fresh. Now it's frozen cheap fries with cheap bread and cheap cheese, onionsaren't caramelized and smokey like they used to. The pastas have had their recipes changed from traditional italian to sub-paramerican style with bad cheese dumped on each. A lot of italian cuisine is about being able to taste the simple and distinctflavors of each (fresh) ingredient. They have forgone what made their business successful and I would recommend people ordersomewhere else until they go back to it. A while back, I didn't mind paying 40$ for one meal because the food was just thatgood. But it isn't anymore, in fact it's barely edible. To the current owner, if you read this. I appreciate how pleasant youand your staff are both in person and when I call, but that is no replacement for good food. Wow! From the service to the food, everything was phenomenal. I called in advanced because I have a connecting flight in... Montreal with my dog, and wanted to make sure dogs were okay. David was so polite and welcoming over the phone! When I arrivedhe has set up the table for us so nicely on the patio and gave excellent recommendations! A true professional. I ordered thechicken pan seared with white wine and salad (highly recommend) a glass of Chardonnay and an espresso. David, thank you so muchfor your warm hospitality.
