The portions are huge, I give them that. But that's about it. The spiced fried chicken was just that. Chicken with lots of... Chilli garlic sauce, that's about it. The beef BBQ tasted awful, I don't know what they put on it but it was definitely notKorean. I ordered noodles with vegetables, again, nothing special and absolutely tasteless. This is the first time we orderedfrom this restaurant and it will be the last. 90$ for a large amount of food that's not good ( I'm being nice here). Read more

Little quiet local spot but the food was not good at all. Ddeokbokki was flavorless and very liquidy. Jjajangmyeon had CHUNKS OF... STARCH. They did not dilute the corn starch or potato starch or whatever they used with water and i ended up biting chunks ofpowder. Maybe I was just unlucky this time around but i'm not going back to try again :( Read more

Sep-22: Update with our best meal in ever. The lady owner/chef was most welcoming and kind. She was friendly and service was... prompt and courteous. The service she provided today should be the standard going forward :) Jjampong and house salad withhome-made Korean mustard dressing was excellent. Undeniably great jjampong and salad. That?s all we need.???????? Jun-22: Authentic Korean food. No frills, just pure good soul food. They provide good entreés, their salad with theirhome-made dressing with a hint of wasabi is just one of the best salad dressing I have ever had. Their Jjampong ($16 beforetax) is our favourite with smoky seafood umami in their broth. Their Japchae ($15) is nice. We ordered their seafood pancake forthe first time and I?m disappointed with the burnt vegetables bits, the dough is just so thick and there?s not much to like so Idon?t recommend this dish. The service? has some room for improvement, the lady cashier could be more helpful. She seemed verydisinterested and was not happy having us dine there at all. The several times we were here last year, they had a nicewaitstaff/cashier and he was checking in with us from time to time to make sure everything was okay. Today, it was impossible toget her attention even though we were the only customers in the restaurant (and they were done with their take awayorders). All in all, we always return for their Jjampong, realiably good every single time, but I wish they bring back the malecashier from last year for improved service. Read more

I ordered tteokbokki. I used to live in Seoul, so I?m used to a thick coating of sauce on the rice cakes. Maison de seoul serves... the rice cakes in what looks and smells like tomato soup. Some of the rice cakes had disintegrated from being in liquid thatlong. I couldn?t eat it. I felt nauseous instantly. If you?ve ever tried the actual dish, stay away from this one. I?m surethere are other things on the menu that would be good. Read more

Im Korean, and I am usually very picky with korean food (especially in Montreal), but I was quite surprised how good their food... was! They don?t have many choices of korean dishes like other restaurants have but the ones i ordered tasted really good! Theirbulgogi (stir-fried beef plate) with slices of cabbages and chop suey was delicious, very very tasty. My husband took the soondoobu stew (korean spicy tofu soup) To be honest there weren?t many veggies like it?s supposed to be, but? two thumbs up, tastyand spicy just like how i like it. Really. Don?t expect to go eat there with a large number of people because the place isreally really small inside. There was maybe 3-4 tables, i think they can manage about 5-6people in one table. The owners aretaking care of serving, cooking and i noticed a lot of delivery guys were coming to pick food for delivery? I am guessing theycan be found either on ubereats or somewhere. Definitely going back there, how great it is to find good comfort korean goodwhen I get a craving Read more
