I've been to several similar restaurants and this was not great at all. Missing flavor in the food a service. I asked for Forks... they had to clean them. Extra plates they had to clean them. Rice was served in a huge bowl....super weird. Sides were the bestpart. I'm not sure where the high ratings come from but I would NEVER go back. Read more

Im Korean and I highly doubt this place is run by Korean because 1. Which Korean restaurant serves rice in a giant bowl to... share?? I was surprised by this. 2. They don't have soups like soy bean soup. 3. Side dishes are terrible except they did apretty good job with spicy rice cakes. We found hair in one of the dishes. Side dishes seem old and not fresh. And no kimchi asa base. 4. I saw no Asians in this place. We were the only asians. 5. Meat sauces are terrible. 6. They spelled Koreantranslation wrong on the menu. Like... seriously? If the owner is Korean and keeps service like this, shame on you. Pleasestart running like a real Korean place so you don't insult us. The place is mediocre all around. Meat was ok. I hope they stepup. We waited an hour to eat and it was definitely not worth the wait. Read more

My twin sister and I had lunch here on Labor Day. Happily, they were open and we were the first customers of the day. Our server... was Donnie. He was very attentive, listened and was very efficient. As the place began filling up, he still treated us as if wewere the only ones there. The food was delicious, he changed the grill pan as it got charred. We had at least 4 rounds of food. The sides were great. Loved the veggies, calamari, bulogi and chicken. The BBQ calamari (you can get the plain as well) was nota favorite of mine but the chicken, beef, pork belly, regular calamari and veggies were on point. We tried the Soju- comes inflavors and does have an alcohol content.I had the apple flavor. Delicious. My sister and I watch lots of Kdrama and food showsfeaturing Korean foods. We were not disappointed coming here. It's definitely a place for families, couples and groups. This wasour first time going to a Korean BBQ. Won't be the last. Thank you, Donnie for being our server. You made it memorable. We'll beback! Read more

The food is good. I love the rice cakes. Too bad I only got 2 orders of it because of how slow the service was. My grill... literally caught fire because of it not being changed. They need better management here walking around to make sure things arerunning smoothly. Half my time here was waiting, and they still had the audacity to kick us out. Oh well Read more

I prefer Iron Age in Rockville better. There are way too many rules to follow here. The quality and flavor of the food is ok.... The portion size for a family of 4 was small. We had to keep ordering every 10-15 minutes. Waiter was nice but forgot to refillour water or ask if we need anything else. He never cleared the table to make room to eat. The drinks were good. I would rateit 6/10. Read more
