Its been a rough week! As a business owner, time falls short when it comes to cooking and having meals prepared. I decided to... treat myself for a late lunch/early dinner. I ordered on line and picked up the 3 combination platter. Charbroiled chicken on askewer, shrimp on a skewer and and sirloin steak..and it was FANTASTIC! It was seasoned well and my side orders of rice, androasted vegetables complimented the meal very well. I would love to know what they put in that rice and I can eat the roastedvegetables over and over again. The meal was so much that I was able to split it into two meals and looking forward to dinnerat 8:00 pm. To top it off, the young man that served me when I went in to pick up the order was absolutely professional. Hepresented himself with a warm smile, very friendly, and took a minute for a short conversation, you just don't see that toomuch. My experience was excellent! Thanks Sardis of Laurel, MD. With prices rising, it's nice that you can get your moniesworth when you do decide to treat yourself. Read more

I was truly disappointed with my Whole Chicken Special. The menu says it will feed 3 to 4. The chicken quarters were small... enough to be cornish hen size. I spent nearly $40 for three vegetable orders and an appetizer. Shame on you. I will warneveryone that will listen to spend their hard earned money elsewhere. What happened to this company? I remember hardly beingable to close the container with a half chicken. I would have sent a photo, but I had to go out again to get dinner. I'm done. Read more

This was our second visit to Sardi's with the first being to the Beltsville location. The restaurant is located in a newer... shopping center vs. the old Pizza Hut building in Beltsville. The Laurel location is less crowded at lunch than Beltsville, butthere was never a break in the ordering line while we were there. We learned about Sardi's from a friend who eats there on avery frequent basis. The food is excellent and the prices are moderate (about $10 to $20 per person), but the portion sizes arelarge. The restaurant has a variety of selections, but my advice is to stick with the Peruvian chicken especially if it is yourfirst visit. I recommend the Churrasco de Pollo priced at $14. It's a charbroiled chicken breast with two sides. We've sampledthe french fries, vegetables and coleslaw which were all very good. The fried yucca, however, was very bland in my opinion whilethe over-sized Peruvian corn was okay. You get three pre-packaged sauces with your order which are very good. The yellow(amarillo) is the least spicy while the green (verde) and red (roja) are spicier. We're already looking forward to our nextvisit to the Laurel location. Read more

Sardi's Pollo A La Brasa (or chicken off the grill) offers hot fresh chicken and a wide variety of side dishes at very... reasonable prices. If you see a line there, don't let it scare you - it's just there because the food appeals to so manypeople. Also, for my experience, the line went down very quickly. Read more

I love Sardis Ceviche, but I am so disappointed in the portion size. For $20, I got the mixto, bc I don?t like a lot of fish,... and would hope to get more than 2 shrimp and all this corn. I get inflation, but this is ridiculous. Read more
