Service is everything. Takes one bad experience for a client not to come back Not too long ago I went for a breakfast once... again to this Resto. My wife, me and sometimes my two teens we have been going this summer very often. Ask the hostess, shemight remember me as the client who always requests a table by a window or waits if there isn't one available.. Dear owner ; ithappened that during my last visit to your business ;I found myself going on a sunny morning ; weekend.. And I asked to beseated out by the Terrasse.. I was greeted at the entry as usual by the kind hostess of the Resto and sent outside to take anyplace as I had requested... She knows me as regular now.. But unfortunately I had a dissatisfied experience with the service.This young lady, rather 5 ft tall or less, kind of Brunet ,typical i think Italo origins who has taken care of us sometimeshappened to be my waitress this time. I am all by myself this time, but at the terrasse there were 3 other tables.. Not on theback but on the narrow side. I confess that I was nearly forgotten outside. I had at the end up going into the Resto inside, askfor my check to the hostess who seems to be the manager or in charge. I could of literally had left and Noone was gonna notice..I tried to send signals through the window that I wanted water; again I was simply forgotten I was outside the terrasse.. Ithad turned hot and everyone who was arriving would ask to be accomodated inside where there is AC.. I told the hôtesse.. I wasnearly ignored outthere.. She replied sorry about that.. And went to look for my waitress since I asked my check please.. Idon't know if the hôtesse noticed my message.. It was rather a complain from a client. May be she did not understand mymessage. The young waitress came by, and asked.. Was everything good.? . I replied.. No actually.. I was practically ignoredoutthere. It is very hot out here today she replied.. Absolutely loved this place! Definitely recommend! Service : fast and nice. Everybody was so kind and thoughtful. Checked if we... were fine, if we missed something, suggested refill on coffee. Had a nice chat with the owner. Very close with his clients andtaking care of them. Food : I wasn't expecting that, but the portions are so so huge! For the price, it's very worth. The tasteis amazing. I finished the whole plate and licking the plate was tempting. I went with my friends and they were all happy withtheir plates. Tips : it's near an apple orchard, so I highly recommend you brunch at Au Grille-Pain with your friends/family andthen go apple picking. You'll have a happy belly :) Read more
