Went to Rubs for dinner with my 2 year old. Waited over an hour for an entrée. My kid was so hungry, he barely ate his main... meal because he jumped on the entrée. My waitress was very nice but seemed to spend more time behind the bar making Drinks.Food was okay. I will not be eating there again, this is my second expérience there with poor customer service. our first and last time at this location. service needs lots of improvements! if customers are spending over $100, at least pay... attention. their $13 psycho bunny drink tasted just straight gin and that was a bad choice on my side. the food is good, atleast. maybe just do take-outs! Read more
Staff if very nice and the place itself looks very good. Got that USA BBQ vibe going and it's well done! The prices are a little... on the high side, but you get plenty of food/meat for that price so it's absolutely worth the price. The food itself is ok/good.I would not say that it's spectacular, but it taste good. A little more could be done to make the food tastier. We had theTexMex platter, which is 9 tacos with fries for our main dish and jalapeno poppers as the appetizer. For 2 people, it ended upbeing way too much food. Those tacos were absolutely LOADED with meat. Two-three tacos would be enough for a meal for a grownman. The pork one was definitely the best, while the the others (chicken & beef) were just fine. Cheap beer, great wait staff, food is on point and compared to other BBQ joints in Montréal, pretty damn reasonable price wise.... The pulled pork was the true standout, smoky an tangy and moist , the brisket was a little dry but still awesome, the links aregreat with fantastic spices and to me the chicken was the second best thing on the plate. Also had the blooming onion and wasnot disappointed. Oh yeah good beer on draft and also pretty damn reasonably priced. 5 stars all the way guys. Read more

Ok, don't get me wrong... I like a good Rub, I've been there over 5 times and driven over 200 miles every time. The food is... what it is, except in Canada, American BBQ!!! and they are good for QC and decent for south Carolina at it. If your hungry,like great service, a good hostess, a good price and Jhon wicks angry dad go to Rubs in Laval. I recommend it if your not gonnatravel to North/South Carolina for diner. Only thing I would change more often is the oil in the side orders fryer, stuff comesout blacked and who want's to eat something that just got blacked in oil? Read more
