Edit: we just tasted the food and its GREAT! Thank you for your good service! Some background: We kow our Indian food pretty... well. Ive lived in the middle east for a while where indian food is everywhere and authentic. That being said, i ordered fromTandoori Express last week and the food was extremely salty. All we could taste is heat and salt so we were not happy. Calledthe restaurant and after some discussion the manager offered a refund when i come to the restaurant (3rd party delivery so theycan't send the driver back.. Fair enough. Fast forward to today, we decide to order again using the credit from last week. Themanager recognized me right away and even remembered the entire order (reordered same thing) He was very happy to make it rightand to me thats a sign of professionalism. A good restaurant stands behind their food and respects your money which they bothdid. Mistakes happen and they are a great opportunity to show what your business stands for. Horrendous service. Never do a take out. You order something and you get something else. Not trustworthy. Sanitary practices are... very bad. Can taste soap in the curry. Please avoid if you care about yourself. Read more
Do NOT order delivery from this restaurant/Ne commandez PAS pour livraison! Deceitful. We ordered a feast for 2 (Festin du... Tandoori Xpress pour deux) (~40$) avec un AUTRE plat, le cari a l'agneau (~17$). They only brought us the items described inthe feast for 2 (which includes beef curry). When we noticed the mistake we called them and they claimed that the beef curry waslamb curry and that we did not have any other beef curry because we had been "upgraded", without us asking for or ever havingbeen told about it, to a bigger chicken. TROMPEURS. We basically got a 40$ meal instead of the 60$ (70$ after the tip) wepaid. P.S. The taste is right but their side-dishes, as well as their curry, is like a watery soup. They need to make itthicker for it to be called curry... Would recommend any other fine Indian restaurants in Laval like Tandoori Palace, who dealwith customers in a legitimate fashion. Read more
Loved the place. It's small, cozy, fast, friendly staff the food was great too, hot and spicy, just like I enjoy it!! It was a... perfect match on a cold night with friends. We had take out though as the place was closing soon and yet they were courteouswith us. Would definitely go again if I go the Laval rout again Read more
