GREAT food and desserts!!! It's clean and is owned and run by mennonites. It's in downtown Lavonia, Georgia. In one of the old... days buildings. You won't regret stopping by for great food. Make double sure that you save room for dessert. You get a hugeportion that could be shared with someone else. But, it's so wonderful that you're not going to want to, even if you have totake what you aren't able to finish home with you. Read more
Came with a group of friends for dessert tasting. The portions were generous and delicious. Our favorites were strawberry... cheesecake, Oreo pie, key-lime pie, and lemon meringue pie. The strawberry cake was too sweet. But other then that we were allsatisfied with our experience. Read more
Second time dining at 211 Main, what a fantastic cafe! The best, I mean the best, home cooked fresh dishes, made from scratch... cakes and desserts. I have seen their cakes used at wedding receptions, that?s how decorative, delicious and large theyare! Today, my daughter and I had their amazing Pecan, caramel cheesecake made from scratch! How often do you get to enjoy oldfashioned made from scratch crust! If you are ever near Lavonia, this is definitely a must stop!!!! Read more
We love to eat at 211 Main Street Restaurant. My wife loves their chicken, and I love the roast. We just took our two kids here,... and my 8 month old loved the potatoes and gravy as well. The service is excellent and people are friendly. The atmosphere isfamily-friendly. We love their cakes and pies as well! I should have taken a picture of the size of the cake slice (we opted tobring our desserts home with us). If you have never ate here, give it a go! I believe you will love it too! Editing to updateafter 2 years: This place is still awesome! Service was great! My glass never reached empty, and the young lady who kept filingit always had a smile.
