My wife and I ordered door dash from here a few times and tonight was our first dine in. It did not disappoint. Beautiful decor,... very helpful and friendly staff, and of course great food. The chirashi bowl was a thing of beauty. Just look at the picture.Mermaid Roll was delicious. I saw a 1 star review about the odd/disgusting taste. That's the blow torch sear on the scallopsbuddy, calm yourself. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will be a repeat customer. Read more

Great place for a quick lunch! We were at a conference at the Layton Event Center and walked over (5-7 minutes) to grab some... lunch. It wasn't busy when we went (later lunch) and we were shown to our booth immediately. Service was great and quick. Wedidn't have time to do all the sushi, so we ordered a bento box and poke bowl and we were both so impressed with the freshnessand flavors. I'll need to come back to try the sushi for sure! Definitely the best sushi I?ve tried in Utah so far!! This restaurant really blew me away. The inside is beautifully appointed... and clean. I loved the variety of seating options including the choice to sit at the sushi bar. The sushi is prepared right inthe middle of the restaurant for all to see. Our server was excellent and the chefs checked on our food as well. Prices werevery fair. The menu is extensive and offers classic rolls and some truly crazy options. I even tried a roll covered in crushedhot Cheetos!! The appetizers we had were delicious. I was a bit disappointed that after one member of our party indicateddietary restrictions, the edamame she ordered came with soy sauce with gluten in it. It?d be good for servers to clarify suchthings in the future. Did not end up being a big deal as the bibimbap they modified for her was plenty of food! The rolls wereall delicious but the dessert roll-the Cloud 9-stood out as the best. It was both rich and light at the same time, andabsolutely delicious! I was also given a free ice cream for my birthday. All in all, highly recommended. Read more

A new favorite! Blue Fin was an experience from the moment I walked through the door. My eyes were greeted with unique shapes... and colors. The experience didn't end there. Our group was seated at a table in a private space. Our server let us know thatthey had a fresh shipment today and listed the three fish that were the most fresh. We chose our rolls based on herrecommendations and got The Lemon Land Roll, Blue Fin Roll, and a Spicy Yellowtail Roll. The two lemon rolls had a sweet freshflavor. The Blue Fin is drizzled with white truffle oil which left a warm smokey flavor in my mouth. I will definitely be backto explore more of the menu! Read more

Trying to form words when my tongue is still salivating after dinner is proving to be a struggle so just look through these... pictures while I gather myself ???? There have been MANY reviews for Blue Fin Sushi over the last few months, and I can'treally tell you anything you won't read on here or a different platform. For several months they were in a soft opening phase, but with their grand opening behind them, they are an up and coming sushi restaurant that will have you wondering why you spokeso highly of all your favorites before trying them. My husband and I were lucky enough to sit at the sushi bar in front ofTyler and have Emma as our waitress, both owners of this amazing establishment. It's obvious they have high expectations forthemselves and the dining experience they provide customers. I can tell you they hit every mark, and I'm not just talking aboutthem as owners. From the moment we stepped in the door, our host was forth coming about expected wait times, not just for atable but also for a sushi order. I watched as all those working around the sushi bar communicated and assisted where needed butnever skimped on quality or care of the food they were making. We didn't go with the sushi boat you see everyone rave about(although we'll be back for that another day). Instead we went with three items off the daily special menu, an every day menuroll and their signature dessert roll. Each roll was unique with flavors that made them melt into a perfect blend and touchedeach taste receptor in your mouth. The quality of fish was evident in every bite and even the roll we had that was primarilyfish didn't leave a fishy after taste. With good seafood comes a cost. If you're used to quality seafood from a diningexperience out of Utah, you won't be shocked when you see the menu prices. For 2 appetizers, 3 sushi rolls, dessert and a sodafor each of us, I felt the entire meal, atmosphere, and experience surpassed the final price tag on the check. It tru Read more
