This Cracker Barrel really seems to be hit or miss. I've had some good meals here, I've also had some bad ones. However, I've... never been really upset until my most recent visit. I decided I would take my 7 year old here for dinner. I didn't feel likecooking that evening, and wanted a calm sit down meal so we could talk and relax. To begin with, I ordered a side salad that myson and I shared. Before we got even halfway through with it they brought our meals. This was irritating. Now we have to hurryand eat before our food gets cold. I don't come to a restaurant to be rushed, and it's something I see a lot of places thesedays. But that's not what made me angry. My son ordered the burger sliders with no cheese. When his meal arrived the burgers hadcheese on them. No biggie, we sent it back, more time for him to eat his cucumbers and Lettuce. But then they brought thereplacement burgers. They looked horrible. One patty was tiny and burnt, the other wasn't even a patty, it was chopped into 3separate pieces. And burnt. I looked at the server and said "really?" Like you're comfortable serving this to my child? He justshrugged his shoulders and said "I guess they just cooked them that way this time." I mean I opened the burgers and showed him.It literally looked like the cook was irritated he had to cook them again, so he grabbed some overcooked burger pieces off thefloor and put them on a bun. There is one thing that will make me angry at a restaurant, and that's putting badly cooked food infront of my child. It took a lot of self control for me to not walk back to the kitchen and confront the cook myself. If you aremaking food for a child you better make sure you do a good job and handle with care. Anything less is negligent andinsulting. But we ate, or tried to eat. In the end neither of us finished. His food just wasn't appetizing. And when I startedeating my mashed potatoes I realized they actually tasted sweet. Like somebody put sugar or honey in them. G Read more

I really wanted to love my experience here, but it was mediocre at best. The staff was friendly and the country shop is cute. ... The food was just a bit disappointing, and we didn?t get close to wanting to finish our plates. The serving sizes weregenerous, but not that tasty. The waitress didn?t bring us our cornbread until the very end, when we were ready to go. Itwasn?t worth the wait. I have been going to the Cracker Barrel at different locations on occasion for years, and always lovedthe food. I?m not sure what happened here. Read more

It is always great to come to Cracker barrel. Earlier I had a few complaints about the place, but now I have no complaints. The... food, as usual, remains to be top-notch and yummy. Classic maple bacon chicken breast was so juicy and tender. I was in a foodcoma as soon as I finished. Our hostess Carolyn S. was very attentive, soo warm, and beautiful. She made sure we had a goodexperience by suggesting good dessert :) Read more

Literally I flew out of Burbank Ca. & landed in Salt Lake City.. That day the 23rd of August in my Hometown of Bakersfield Ca.... Crackle Barrel was having its grand opening & people had been in line for 3 days camping out so they could say they were thefirst to eat there & be on the local news. ???? I didn't care about all that, but I was sad I couldn't go.. after my Auntie Jopicked me up from the airport ???? ???? she said she had a surprise for me? Well she took me to this Crackle Barrel & we had anawesome lunch. She got the fried Chicken ???? & I had the Bacon ???? Syrup Chicken Tenders with some beans & mash taters. Apple???? butter ???? with cornbread & biscuits in a basket ???? as well. Our waitress was really nice & friendly. We got our foodreally quick & enjoyed ever minute we spent there. We just had the best time there & spent equal amount of time in the store. Imust have bought another 30 to 40 bucks on special candies & incense & a few toys ???? ????. I didn't get to eat at my NewCrackle Barrel BUT I ate at this one & LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. Thanks for such a wonderful experience & the kindest employees??. It's nice to experience this place & I will definitely be coming back here everytime I fly in to visit my Auntie Jo in LoganUtah. We will stop here on the way home for a terrific meal ???? once again. Read more

I have never been to a Cracker Barrel before. It was great. It's not only a restaurant but a really fun store. They have some... really cool stuff to buy. The food was good especially the sweet carrots. It seemed like they did not have enough staff so ourwaitress had to hustle. We felt bad so we left a really nice tip. So all and all great place.
