My favorite place in Leavenworth by far. I stop in every time I'm in town or even remotely close. My fiancé and I made a... special trip from Wenatchee this last weekend just so I could get some pastries. Even though Alicia (spelling?) was super busyand she's only seen me a couple times, she remembered me and even snuck an extra cookie in my bag. I'm allergic to gluten,dairy, and soy, but you don't miss a single one of those ingredients with the taste of things here. My girlfriend and I visited Local Yokel on Saturday, October 8. There was one other person waiting for food. No other people... were in line. The lady who took my order was extremely rude from the beggining. I cannot beleive someone like this works in thefood and beverage industry. I myself worked in food and beverage for over 12 years, so I tend to have grace on workers whenothers do not. This lady was one of the rudest food workers I have ever come into contact with. We will not be back because ofthis treatment. Read more
